Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.
- The engineering project manager will take a lead role in directing product design efforts including defining product specifications, managing detailed mechanical and electromechanical designs, and constructing and evaluating the performance of engineering prototypes.
- In this role you will be responsible for following the INFICON global stage gate process for all development projects.
- Defines test procedures and oversees tests of components and systems to insure that they meet performance goals.
- Generates documentation necessary for the design, assembly and testing of products.
- Works effectively as leader of the Service Tools product team. Utilizes team, leadership and problem solving skills as appropriate.
- Provides detailed budgeting, cost and timing information to Service Tools and LDT business unit management as per INFICON guidelines.
- Responsible for selecting and managing outside resources and consultants as needed.
