Key Responsibilities:
Selection, training, development, and management of the facility’s technical team
Improving OEE performance (uptime, throughput, scrap)
Capital project planning and execution
Provide manufacturing support to SMC, Molding, and Assembly Departments
Manage and lead ongoing cost reduction efforts.
Identify and drive continuous improvement projects
Expert in APQP and Launch Activities to include FMEAs and Control Plans
Ensure timely and effective response to customer (internal and external) quality and or product issues.
Assist in developing a culture among all associates which emphasize cooperation, ownership, and accountability for quality, and defect-free products.
Required Assignments

· Process design and development

Supervisory Responsibility

Required Education, Skills, and Experience
· Bachelor’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
· 10+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a mid-volume mixture of automation and manual operations
· 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated progressive track record of engineering leadership accomplishments
· Exemplary record and commitment to workplace safety
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling, ideally in molding and automotive assembly operations
Expertise with Lean Manufacturing, 5S+Safety, FMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis
Expertise with GD&T and understanding of customer prints and specifications
Highly developed formal problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
Proven ability to create workflows and work instructions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to lead high-performing work teams
Advanced ability to develop capital projects and budgets
Advanced knowledge and use of IATF16949:2016 and ISO9001 quality systems
Proven skills in project management and interfacing with customers
Expected salary: $120000 – 130000 per year
