As an important interface between Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing, the Manufacturing Engineering Techician’s purpose is to analyses problems, work on solutions together with the team and ensure the know-how is shared with manufacturing
So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician?
- Responsible for manufacturing problem analysis or prototype development
- Support manufacturing process improvement activities (PLC, Vision, Testing, tooling…)
- Responsible for resource/know how transfer to manufacturing
- Ensure prototype build
- Leading a Safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business.
- Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Trained Technician (Electrician, Mechanics, Control, Tooling, or the like)
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the trained area
- Experience with PLC and vision systems
- Ideally, experienced in manufacturing companies
- Technical expertise in respective area
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Very good communication skills on all levels
- Very good problem analysis and organizational skill
